Multi-room audio systems, also known as distributed audio or whole house audio systems, allow you to listen to different musical selections in different rooms of the house--all from the same central location. In-wall or in-ceiling speakers can be added to your rooms, making your audio system nearly invisible. In-wall volume controls are also available, meaning that you don't have to run between rooms to adjust the volume. These allow the volume for each room to be controlled separately and simultaneously.
